Bold Reuse is a full-service reusable packaging platform that eliminates single-use trash. We’ve already eliminated over 1.5 million items of plastic packaging from landfills. Our mission is to make reusable packaging easy for both companies to offer and customers to use. 

 

We provide essential logistics and sanitation solutions for our clients, who rely on us for consistent, high-quality services. We are expanding our service footprint in the greater Seattle market and are looking for a leader to help us establish and grow our operations. Position Details

We are looking for a self-motivated Branch Supervisor with expertise in production and system building who will support the development and expansion of Bold Reuse operations, driving value for our organization by managing and actively participating in the execution of our service contracts, working collaboratively on the production floor and with company leadership to continuously improve our processes and develop new ones for new clients. This leader must have excellent communication skills to share our vision and ensure that pertinent information reaches organizational teams in a timely and accurate manner. A focus on team-building and culture development is vital to retaining and mobilizing our team. Finally, a desire to help build a company that benefits the community, the team, and the world is a must because that is what we seek to do every day! 

 

Job Type

This is a full time position with some very occasional weekend availability required. 



Compensation: 

Starting at $25-$27/hr, dependent upon experience, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid holidays, and paid time off. 

Key Responsibilities and Job Elements:

 

  • Support, mentor, hire, and motivate the operations team
  • Scheduling weekly employee shifts based on operational needs
  • Establish clear performance expectations, monitor, and proactively drive improvements of key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Providing continuous feedback to promote individual employee, team, and facility development and growth
  • Collaborate with operations leadership and co-develop strategies to achieve continuous performance improvements across company operations
  • Identify, test, and vet operational efficiency ideas
  • Understand client requirements to efficiently prioritize and allocate team and facility resources
  • Manage employee and facility safety, quality, and productivity, identify and correct unsafe conditions and behavior; recognize positive safety performance as well as individual and team contributions to promote a safer workplace
  • Ability to quickly assess performance or capability gaps and take corrective action to mitigate risk and develop ongoing contingency plans 
  • Review, establish, and maintain standard operating procedures and preventive maintenance practices for equipment 
  • Employ positive, strong communication skills, both verbal and written as well as people skills when working with various job levels of the organization
  • Effectively communicate progress, plans, and issues that may impact production areas with leadership teams
  • Participate and conduct regular meetings with employees to encourage open communication from all levels to problem-solve issues and drive improvement
  • Ability to effectively troubleshoot under stressful conditions
  • Share daily operational plans with team members and leadership
  • Weekly 1:1 meetings with Manager
  • Work alongside the operations team to process reusables through sanitation and logistics procedures as needed

 

Ideal Candidate Skills

  • 4+ years of operations or production experience
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding department performance goals
  • Familiarity with structures and processes that drive successful service operations
  • Thorough understanding of team dynamics and the ability to implement processes necessary to reliably hire, promote, train, and support a diverse team
  • Willingness to work alongside the team to gain familiarity with and expertise in our procedures, as well as to support KPIs and revenue goals
  • Excellent communication skills to convey critical information to all stakeholders (the team, management, and clients)
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and analytical skills
  • Will become certified and operate heavy equipment (forklift, pallet jacks) if not already
